Catalyzing a Movement

For the past 23 years, I've dedicated myself to the growth and sustainability of small and mid-size nonprofits, serving in diverse roles including founder, president, CEO, COO, Board Member, Board Chair, Committee Chair, and volunteer. Today, amidst the joys of motherhood to two young toddlers and the support of a loving spouse, I remain committed to nonprofit leadership in the Greater Cleveland Community and beyond.

My journey in the nonprofit sector began at the age of 23, and over the years, I've encountered recurring themes centered on a crucial thread: sustainability and capacity building. While nonprofits often stem from the passion and vision of their founders, many lack the essential knowledge and formal business management training needed to effectively expand and maintain operations.

Boards, typically comprised of community volunteers, often face challenges in fully grasping the operational needs and resources required to make informed decisions, leading to organizational shortcomings. Without a solid grasp of core structures and key elements of sustainability, many organizations struggle for years to generate meaningful impact and a robust return on investment. However, this need not be the inevitable outcome. By prioritizing enhanced business acumen, investing in leadership development, and aligning goals and metrics with mission, nonprofits of all sizes can flourish.

Having spent two decades immersed in nonprofit dynamics, I've come to recognize that I can contribute more by establishing a practice dedicated to nurturing successful and impactful nonprofit entities. If you're seeking support in realizing your nonprofit vision and/or if you are interested in joining the movement and supporting nonprofits, I invite you to reach out. Together, let's build something extraordinary.

In Partnership,

Annemarie
